Opening day for the Orange County Fair is Friday, July 17.  The OC Fair continues through August 16 with food, rides, exhibits, animals, music, action sports and fun, as well as the OC Fair Summer Concert Series at the Pacific Amphitheatre.  The Orange County Fair is celebrating its 125th anniversary and the theme for the 2015 Orange County Fair is “One Big Party.”

The Orange County Fair is open Wednesday through Sunday.  Hours are noon to midnight Wednesday to Friday, and 10 am to midnight Saturday and Sunday.

Orange County Fair admission ticket prices are: General (13–59) $12, Seniors (60+) $7, Youth (6–12) $7, and children 5 and under are free as are active-duty military and veterans with ID.  A non-transferrable Orange County Fair Super Pass is available which is valid for one admission each day of the 2014 OC Fair for the owner of the pass only.  Prices for the Orange County Fair Super Pass are: General (ages 13-59) $35, Seniors (ages 60+) $28, Youth (ages 6-12) $28.

No coolers, outside alcoholic beverages, cans or glass bottles are permitted inside the Orange County Fair.  Also, no laser pointers, weapons of any type or pets allowed.  All belongings are subject to inspection before entering the OC Fair.

Parking for the Orange County Fair is cash only: $10 per vehicle and $20 per bus or limo (cash only).  Pacific Amphitheatre VIP parking is $30.  Free off-site parking and shuttle service is available on the weekends only from the Experian parking structure off the Bristol Street exit of the 405 freeway.  The free OC Fair shuttle operates from 10 am to 1 am weekends only.

The Orange County Fair always has a wide variety of food and this year is no exception.  OC Fair visitors will find funnel cake, BBQ tri-tip, deep-fried and battered food, bacon-wrapped turkey legs, cored out pineapples filled with shrimp cocktail, beef ribs, and more.  Also look for food shows with celebrity chefs, eating contests, and culinary arts contests.  Read more about Orange County Fair food.

Daily Free Entertainment

Daily free entertainment at the Orange County Fair includes a diverse lineup of local bands, magicians and children’s dance troupes.  Every day, visitors to the Orange County Fair can enjoy the acrobatic feats of the Peking Acrobats (multiple shows nightly on Plaza Arts Stage), the beauty of the stilted and costumed Dragon Knights (all day throughout the grounds), and the competitiveness of the All-Alaskan Racing Pigs (multiple shows daily in the Livestock area).

Learn and Experience

Children of all ages can enjoy the hands-on exhibits and games in the Orange County Fair Explorium: Destination Kids (formerly the Fun Zone) with the Big Bug Hut, ExplorOcean, Prehistoric Pets, and more.

OC Fair visitors can also peruse through the award-winning artwork and home art competitive entries in the Visual Arts and Home Arts Galleries.  Free demonstrations are held daily in each building as well as on the Orange County Fair Exhibit Promenade Stage.

Get Competitive

Children can compete nightly in OC Fair food eating contests.  Singers in the family can belt out their favorite tunes with the support of a live band and in front of a live audience during the Karaoke Rockstarz shows held each evening on the Orange County Fair Meadows Stage.

Carnival, Parade and Festival of Products

There will be hundreds of commercial exhibitors at Orange County Fair selling everything from hats to home improvement tools to products that appeal to all ages.  Two OC Fair buildings and a breezeway feature new and favorite products only found at fairs and festivals.  Located in the Main Mall of the Orange County Fair.

Crafters Village

This quaint, woodsy area of the Orange County Fair features artisan’s demonstrations, offering their handcrafted wares for sale.  Located on Country Lane between the Centennial Farm and Park Plaza areas of the Orange County Fair.

Market Place Village

Select vendors from the Orange County Market Place return to the Orange County Fair to offer a slice of the popular Market Place generally held on weekends outside the annual OC Fair.  Located near the Green Gate to the Orange County Fair.
